Sarah Havel to Lead Prairie Dance Team

The Prairie Activities Office is excited to announce the hiring of Sarah Havel as the Head Dance Sponsor pending Board approval for the 2021-22 season.  Sarah has been a part of the program for 6 years as an Assistant JV or Varsity Coach.  Rocky Bennett, PHS Activities Director commented “Sarah’s tremendous knowledge of dance, her infectious enthusiasm and relationship skills with student athletes will be a great asset to our program.”

Sarah graduated from Kennedy High School and was a member of their dance team all 4 years.  A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, she was a 1 year member of the dance team that placed first in Poms at Nationals.  “I am excited to continue this journey with the Prairie Poms program to empower student athletes, not only in their lives but on the dance floor,” said Havel.
